PhD Programmes Scholarships in Materials and Surface Technology


The PhD Programmes section for Materials and Surface Engineering is involved in externally financed national and international strategic research programs through which the following Ph.D. positions have become available.

PhD Programmes Modeling of high temperature corrosion of metals in biomass-fired power plants (financed through the Danish Research Council for Strategic Research).This PhD project addresses the modeling of the interaction of metallic materials with aggressive environments as occurring in biomass fired power plants, most notably under hot corrosion conditions. A PhD Programmes combination of materials modeling and experimental investigations under laboratory conditions will be used to arrive at designing alternative materials that potentially can withstand hot corrosion environments.

University of Otago Coursework Master’s Scholarship Phd Programmes


The Phd Programmes University of Otago Award Masters Coursework resources provided to support course work students to study at the University of Otago masters.
Applicants must:
* Receipt of its first master's degree.
* The domestic students or international students
* The completion of a dissertation based papers *
Coursework * Price controls are not available for this year features a two-year research Masters, but for the classes to Mint, spirits, MBA, Mentre, MAvMed, MBHL, MDiet, M.Ed., MTchg and M min and for students who the thesis option or a research report for the Mediterranean (TCHG) MClinPharm, MPlan, MGP, MHealSc, MPH, MPHC, MPhty, MSCW, DSM and MTravMed degree undertake.
The
Phd Programmes confirmation of the grant depends on the admission as a candidate for the Master and the completion of registration to register.
International applicants must separately for admission to the International University Otago.
Phd Programmes Selection is based primarily on academic merit and potential candidates for research.
To date, the application forms are added be available from August 2011.

Its world-leading Derek Nexus, Zeneth and Meteor software systems are becoming industry standards for toxicity, chemical degradation and metabolism prediction.Phd Programmesc Lhasa Limited is also taking the lead in developing Vitic Nexus, a high quality, structure-searchable chemical database that can be used to develop predictive toxicology models and is participating in several research projects.

Phd Programmes an exciting opportunity now exists for a highly motivated scientist to research, develop and implement rules for use in our software suitable for the prediction of the metabolism or toxicity of chemicals.

Phd Programmes applicants should be educated to degree level in organic or medicinal chemistry, preferably with a PhD, (or have equivalent experience) and possess a good understanding of chemical structures and organic reaction mechanisms. Experience in chemical toxicology and/or metabolism would be advantageous.

Applicants will also need to be able to demonstrate an aptitude for the evaluation of biological or chemical data and the identification and interpretation of trends within these.

Salary will be in the range of £23,789 - £31,971 p.a. plus benefits, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

The Multimedia Signal Processing Group at Instituto de Telecomunicações, Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, invites applications for PhD Programmes and Postdoc positions, with a yearly renewable contract, for a maximum duration of 4 years.
